Diane James
Diane James is the Blue Cross Pet Bereavement Support Service Manager, which provides over 15,000 people a year with support. The charity was started in 1897 and the support service has been in existence for over 27 years, Bereavement is all types of loss from theft, lost, rehomed and sadly death, Diane says, it is a vocation and passion that people understand the importance of Pet bereavement, the effect it has on people, who have suffered any type of pet loss.
Diane also trains and presents on the topic of Pet Bereavement, to animal charities, veterinary and educational teams. As well as speaking on TV, radio and contributing to many magazines and podcasts. She is a trustee of the help lines partnership and co-chair of the pet loss network.
